How to create a rule using a timer and delays on the Almond+

So far we’ve shown you how to make some simple rules on the Almond+. This time around we want to show you how to make a slightly more complex rule using the timer and delays. In the example we’ve created we’ve set up a rule that will turn on the light at 7am and the increase the brightness of the light every two minutes, as a wake up call in addition to your alarm clock.

As with our previous rule example, we’ve created a screencast, as it’s easier to explain the steps this way. We’ll be following up this with a look at the “between” time based rules, as they are slightly more complex, but can be very useful if you want something to only take place during certain hours of the day.

I have tried to use delays but they do not seem to work. I created the following two rules
If the room is occupied, turn the lights on.
If a room is unoccupied, turn the lights off in the room with a delay of 5 min.

But the lights just turn off after 5 min.
